Volunteers are the reason that any of the Refcode students succeed. For every student who graduates, there is a whole team of volunteers who gave freely of their time, knowledge, expertise, and social capital in order to improve the life of someone who came into this country at a disadvantage.

Volunteer Opportunities
Bootcamp TA
Attend class and learn Bubble alongside students, and lend a helping hand as we all learn together.
Time
7-9pm one night per week for 10 weeks
Skills
Web development, Nocode development, or related.
Internship Mentor
Provide one-on-one mentorship to an intern going through the Refcode internship. Provide technical support as well as career guidance.
Flexible
Remote mentorship, flexible depending on mentee's needs.
Skills
Professional Bubble.io experience.
Instructor
Teach or co-teach a class on a wide variety of technical topics. We're especially looking for people with experience in Bubble.io development.
Time
7-9pm one night per week for 10 weeks
Skills
Must have volunteered in a Refcode program previously or have experience working with refugees.
Laptop Manager
Help process donated laptops. Clean stickers and dirt, wipe the OS and install clean software, enter info into the system, and get laptops ready to give out.
Time
A few times per year.
Skills
Hardware, MacOS administration.
Deputy Executive Director
Manage and organize Refcode's programs and volunteers. Forge strategic partnerships. Advance the mission of Refcode.
