I can attend the main class session every week

The main class session each week will be held online and in-person (concurrently) on Wednesday night from 8-9pm.

I can attend one tutoring sessions per week.

Every week, you will need to meet with a TA to review your homework and work through questions you have. You will schedule this with your TA using the Refcode Slack workspace.

I can attend the "BubbleFlix and Chill" session once per week

Once per week, we will gather on Zoom to watch an educational video about Bubble and then discuss as a group.

I will dedicate 15-30 hours each week to the homework

15 hours per week is the bare minimum amount of time it will take to "barely pass" this bootcamp. The more time you put into this course, the more you'll get out of it. Ideally, you will put 30+ hours of work per week into this course.

I understand that if I fall more than one week behind, I will be dropped from the course.

It's extremely important to keep up with the class. It is possible to miss one or two sessions, but it will be extremely challenging for you to catch up after that, and if you fall behind more than a week on coursework, you will be removed from the class.

Assessment

Please complete the following assessment tasks. These tasks are "open book," which means you can use any resources for help, and you can take as long as you want to to complete the task, as long as they're completed before the application deadline.

Create a Bubble Account

Create a new application in Bubble

Add a text element to your application

Make the text in your text element say "Bubble is amazing!"

Remember, this is an assessment and a test. You will be judged by your ability to accurately complete the task.

Share the link to your app's preview mode

To get the link to your runtime editor:Click on the "Preview" button in the top right of the Bubble editor.
Copy the URL from the browser address bar.
Paste it into the Refcode Slack workspace in the #bubble channel.

Payment Information

The tuition for this course is $2,000 per student.
Scholarships are available for refugees and immigrants, as well as Refcode volunteers and community members from Atlanta. Please check all that apply.
